Frederic Weinberg, a Philadelphia-based artist and industrial designer, was trained at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. During the 1950s he designed, manufactured and sold a variety of functional and decorative items under his company Frederic Weinberg Co.Chairs are made of wrought iron and wicker, with brass details on the backrests, which makes them stand out. Chairs are in good vintage condition with some visible signs of time and use. Apart from some patina, there are scratches on rattan as well as some discolorations, as well as the areas where the black paint has peeled off due to their age. Wicker is very well preserved otherwise and very sturdy. No restoration has been done.
